INTERACTION

Really I liked this blog and the activity by Pixton that our colleague has carried out: https://teacherpiferber.blogspot.com/  this is really nice  https://compartir.pixton.com/qthg6jf I liked it so much that I have also made one for my students https://app.pixton.com/

WITH GENIALLY IT SEEMS TO BE EASIER

The students have followed this work plan:  Firstly they have chosen the topic and since this year we are carrying out a virtual exchange with France we asked them to show their city or their school to the French partners. This way they chose the second one and  titled it "Our School". Secondly, in order to hand in on time students have worked in heterogeneous groups of 4 and among the different patterns they have chosen the modality of "interactive image" due to the range of possibilities  it offers. It is something new for them and they get surprised when they watch the edited product and what is more important they have worked the four communicative skills bringing about a very attractive audiovisual product at the end.  Thirdly they have put to work and each group has been in charge of the content of an interactive etiquette. We have allowed them to group with the students they get on well  but it is true that those students with learning difficulties...

Working with EDPUZZLE

Whenever we do a task in class it is important to bear in mind the following aims: 1. to use authentic material 2. To plan the learning process step by step 3. to do significant and interactive tasks 4. to foster our students' autonomy Actually we were reading  a text in class about travelling to the main cities in the world, among them the city of London is mentioned. So in order for them to get familiar with this cosmopolitan city  firstly I uploaded the original video in classroom for them to watch at home and then  on the following day of class they watched the video again but this time edited and modified thanks to the tool edpuzzle, you can see it in this link:  EDPUZZLE TASK   This way we have achieved the four aims persued, since we have used authentic material, we have planned the learning process, the experience has been very significant and interactive since it was related to the content we started to see the day before and we have given autonomy to o...
TIME TOAST TASK I had never heard of this tool but I find it very useful since not oly does it allow cooperative work but it brings about a high motivation for learners to read as they have had to read some webpages to be able to choose the required information, so it helps them increase their reading speed.  The main learning objectives persued with this task are:  - to make students familiar with British women ahead of their time such as the figure of Beatrix Potter -to develop students' digital competence by using ICT tools such as Time toast to produce their work.  -to enhance students' communicative competence by developing their reading, listening, writing and speaking skills. - to help them learn to learn so that they can use this tool in future works - to know how to work in groups On the occasion of Women's Day we have dealt with important women so in order to end up this second term we have worked on Beatrix Potter. Among the different tasks they have carr...
FLYING AWAY THANKS TO READING After seeing the different images we realize that no matter whether we are in a library, sitting down on the threshold of a door, at school or just in the middle of the street....when we read we lose track of time and we dive into those words so that we get rid of our routine and fly away towards what we really enjoy and like. And actually this is what I experience every time I read. This is the reason why whenever I have time to read I usually choose articles, webpages or books dealing for example with religious topics,  such as Saint's lives, indeed their lives help me make decisions in difficult situations and how to cope with my daily routine.  Furthermore I love reading about new ways of teaching mainly about ICT tools that I can use in order to motivate my students and make them more  interested in my lessons. This has led me this school year to know tools such as "thinglink" "baamboozle" "googlemap""read.bookcr...
